Masterclass with Lynne Charles , Bath - UK Ages 12-14 years
We are delighted to welcome Lynne Charles to Bath for an exclusive Intermediate to Advanced Pointe Masterclass for dancers aged 14–19 years.
An internationally renowned dancer, teacher, and now Artistic Director of English National Ballet School, Lynne brings an exceptional wealth of knowledge shaped by a remarkable international career. She is also the creator of 4Pointe, a thoughtful and highly respected somatic approach to pointe work that combines technical understanding with mindfulness, strength, and longevity in practice. We are honoured to share her expertise with young dancers through this very special event.

Location: Dorothy Coleborn Dance School, Englishcombe Court, Englishcombe Lane, Bath, BA2 2EJ
Ages 12–14 years | 9:30am–11:30am
Session: Beginner to Elementary Pointe Work
This session will include an open classical ballet class followed by a dedicated pointe work session.
Requirement: A minimum of 1–2 years of pointe work experience
Dancers aged 11 with prior pointe experience may be considered. Please email to enquire.
Please note that ages are intended as a guide only, and sessions are based primarily on pointe level. If you are unsure which session would be most suitable, we recommend speaking with your teacher or emailing us for guidance.
The pointe work section will also be open to teacher observation, offering a rare opportunity to watch Lynne’s methodology and teaching in action. Teacher viewing places are strictly limited, so if your teacher is interested, please ask them to email us directly.
